Barack Obama is coming for our precious bodily fluids
Did you know that the next president of the United States might be a...Communist?
According to Lisa Schiffren on the National Review's "The Corner" blog*, it is highly likely that Barack Obama is a certified "red diaper baby." How can she be sure? Because he was born to a black father and white, reputedly Jewish** mother in the early 1960s, thats why. And we all know how those people are!
Are you serious? This is hilarious. I can't believe it actually made it onto the (web)pages of the National Review. It sounds like a rant from somebody's crotchety, bigoted, 85-year-old aunt. Calm down, Mildred, and have a sherry.
Watch out--if Mr. Obama succeeds and the Communists take over, they might attack our civil liberties, imprison people without cause, and trash our economy.

First of all, that 'sherry' comment gave me the best laugh all day, so thanks on that.
Also, here's a little something from the trenches of 'doing business with the unwashed masses' dept: as I was in the check out line in the local Target (Tucson, AZ), the young cashier suspiciously eyed the Barack button on my backpack. "Uh, ma'am? Isn't that guy a muslim?" "Why, no", I answer, "he is very much a christian."
And, then, my precious five year daughter pipes up, "We're voting for the black man!"
That's me and my kid Ruby: out fighting intolerance and ignorance in check out lines across Tucson.

Why in the world would it matter if he were a muslim?
That being said, I'm still hoping that Hillary will win-out. We need a bit more than wishful thinking. She's got the experience and knowledge to get the job done ... she'll be able to hit the ground running. Obama's going to spend the first year or so just learning the ropes.

Holly, I don't really expect people to spot irony anymore, but here I'm poking fun at the fact that Mr. Obama has been criticized variously for his Muslim, Jewish, and, most recently, Christian religious backgrounds. So some crazies are saying that he is somehow connected to Islamic extremism...and here this blogger is also saying he is connected to Jewish Communism. That's one that you really can't have both ways. It's sort of hilarious.
